short term rental

1 - What requirements are needed to rent our vehicles?

Valid driver’s license. Also those who do not possess a credit card can proceed to rent a car. Choose Clarent and rent in complete freedom even without a credit card.

2 - What requirements are needed to drive our vehicles?

21 years old and a valid and visible license (no substitutes or fines) of type B issued for at least 12 months.

3 - What happens in the event of a claim?

In the event of an accident involving another vehicle, the customer must fill out the C.I.A. form in full and have it delivered to our office as soon as possible. If the accident occurs against objects, the customer must still provide our agency with the details (time, place, etc.) of the accident. In the event of a right or wrong claim, the customer is fully covered by insurance.

4 - What happens in the event of a breakdown?

In the event of a breakdown, the customer must immediately notify our office and communicate the place where it is located and, if possible, the type of breakdown. We will supply you with all the necessary instructions to solve the inconvenience in the shortest possible time. If the breakdown occurs during the night, it is always possible to use the 24 hr non-stop assistance numbers: +39 379 124414; +39 144554; who will solve the problem. Any breakdowns caused by the vehicle will be at our expense.

5 - What to do if the vehicle is stolen?

In the event of theft of the vehicle, the customer must immediately report it to the nearest police station and then report it to our office. Then he must pass by our office and leave the keys together with the report in duplicate copies. No sums to be paid will be charged to the customer.

6 - What happens in the event of an offense?

In case of infringement, Clarent reserves the right to charge the customer the fine plus management costs.

7 - How do we deliver the vehicle to you?

Clarent car rental delivers to the customer the vehicle indicated in the contract in a good state of maintenance and cleanliness. The vehicle, unless otherwise indicated in the agreement, will have a full tank of fuel and will be equipped with all the usual tools (triangle, spare wheel, etc.), green card and all necessary documents.

8 - When do we return the vehicle to you?

At the time of the contract, the customer must communicate the date of return, any change in the commitment must be previously communicated to our agency at the start of the rental. A rental day is considered to be 24 hours, with a tolerance of 60 minutes.

9 - What do our rates include?

Our rates include:

  • km travelled
  • RCA Insurance
  • assistance in the event of a breakdown
  • vehicle maintenance
  • Vat at 22%

Our rates do not include:

  • Fuel
  • Fines
  • Motorway tolls
